Moiika is a multi-faceted woman: Lawyer, Dancer, Creative Director and Brand Developer having technical training in ballet, jazz, modern and hip-hop, but specializing in Afro Diaspora Dance.
Moiika tours the World teaching workshops using dance as a conduit to promote and empower other Artist. She is CEO and Visionary for Wan Move Inc. which produces the largest afro dance conference in the world, Wan Move Diaspora Dance Conference.
Moiika holds a Bachelor’s in Dance Pedagogy and Business Adminstration, 2 Master Degrees and a Doctorate. Her performance career began as a background dancer for music videos and tours, with artist inclusive of Nicki Minaj, Beenie Man, Pusha T, Elephant Man and Snoop Dogg, she also played a cheerleader in the movie “Like Mike” starring Morris Chestnut and Lil Bow Wow.
Moiika placed 1st RU in the International Dancehall Queen competition held in Jamaica after winning the
regional Miss California Dancehall Queen.
Refusing to plateau moiika was looking for her next step when she linked up with Multi-platinum Grammy producing Rhano Burrell who believed she could be “the next Patra”, since then Queen Moiika has collaborated with a myriad of producers inclusive of Rob Fusari (Lady gaga), DreDay, Blaq Sheep and Reggie Rockstone.
Moiika distinguishes her self by being an artist with many accolodaes in polar fields and dedicates her work to not making excuses but making progress.
